Oh they love peanut butter filled Kongs so much! When I used to have stairs in my house, mine would throw his Kong down them to dislodge the bits he couldn’t reach. The walls always have goop flicked out all over them!
Oh that’s just awesome, it’s like the premier booty track in my opinion, no wonder Louie loves it!
I used to have two house bunnies, they had grumpy down to a fine art! Sometimes they weren’t great with using their litter tray, and would flick piss at you with their hind feet as a kind of exclamation mark at the end of grumping at you. You had to appease them by plucking their face fur.
*wibble* I think everyone has that “one special” pet in their lives - it’s not so much that they are more loved than other pets, it’s just that the connection is super profound. It’s why I refer to my boy as my familiar, we’ve got a soul thing going on.
*hugs* I hope he turns up, this sounds nightmarish and one of the worst things that could happen at any time of year, never mind the festive season.
I wish my arms were long enough to hug you from where I am, this sounds super shit.
It’s foggy AF over her in England, I thought at first that there must have been a fire or something it’s that thick - but the airport near me is cancelling flights, so it’s hit the news, which in turn confirms it’s just fog, yo’.
I bet he knows it’s his song, as well, I know my lad would probably be bouncing on his front paws or some other “excited” dog move to that one!
He sounds like he was amazing - and such a well travelled kitty as well! There’s some pets that you have that the way they interact with people and dig human stuff makes you look at them and think “I SWEAR you were a human in a past life” - he sounds like one of those!
Oh yes. Waiting for that butt to finally curl round can be agony!! Mine likes to also run around whimpering if a bit of poo gets stuck in his bum fur. He’s a bit delicate like that.
I’m loving this!!! That they know their songs are just their jam *proves* they are keen to communicate with us and are trying to work out what the hell we’re saying. I bet he feels super special for having his own song!
This is beyond excellent! I like how you’ve worked the wet food in there. Wet food is like gold to our fuzzy chums.
Those are just totally adorable! I love it when you do something and it obviously chills a hound out, mine likes to lightly nibble the tips of my fingers whilst I bounce him on my knee. It feels great that they trust you so much that things like that work!
Ooh he’ll do the cheek puff then! My sister’s dog is at least 75% greyhound, you lie him over you like a blanket made of elbows, he put his head on your shoulder and gnitters & cheek puffs like a velvety steam engine!
That is a tremendously stealable and hilarious adaptation, I hope you know that. Bless Lucy and her special poo place, where ever that is now. <3
Do you squeeze a “mraow” in?
Ah, you have PLURAL puppies! That adds another layer of complexity to squeezing names in - although the “puppy” adaptation sounds particularly useful *and* as you say, you can make seasonal adjustments to your repertoire!
OMG I am going to have to do a British adaptation of that National Anthem (although it would probably end up a lot of tutting and polite coughs, because that’s how we roll, yo’)!
Seasonally appropriate as well! :D
