I can only assume (hope?) they are backing him because they have bigger fish to fry in terms of the cabinet nominees (like they’ve made a deal that they’ll back him if so-and-so doesn’t back someone else?). This still feels like a betrayal, but there are worse cabinet picks, imo.

This is literally what needs to happen. We need real progressives in office, not people who just give lip service and then become useless when it is time to actually take a stand.

The moment a child grabs a knife to stab a stranger for nothing and feels no remorse in doing so and yet worries about some jewelry lost in the process stops being a child she is a fucking psycho and should be in jailed forever.

This, to me, is one of those rare cases that warrants the death penalty. By her own words, this is not a human being, but a cruel robot with no empathy or remorse. She deserves the same compassion she had for her victim, which is none. Sorry/not sorry.

Bui think that could also be Obama feeling a sense of relief, accomplishment and freedom after 8 years in the spotlight. And gratitude to his wife for being with him through it. Trump on the other hand looks like a man going “oh shit what did I get myself into”
