Correct me if I am wrong, but hasn’t Daenerys been telling everyone she meets that she wants to be better than her father? That she wanted to “leave this world better than she found it”? I mean she even lectures Yara that on their violent way of life and says “no more”.

I am also one who believes that this killing was out of character, and I don’t see how decimating the city AFTER winning it helped her in any way. The people were clearly terrified. She was built up through the course of the show as “Stannis with Dragons”, in 1.5 episodes they said “j/k shes a actually Joffery with Dragons”.

You should “PayAttentionPlease”. Not once has Dany ever KILLED 10,000s of innocent civilians??? She even said last season, when Ollena told her she needed to be feared, that she wouldn’t be the “queen of ashes” or whatever.
