Even so, I’d think he’d still have a backup plan to that. At the every least I don’t think he’d stick around for the aftermath, eating or no.

Yep. If Cersei had gotten away, I could buy Dany snapping and taking it out on everything around her. I just can’t get over how dumbed down everyone is this season. Varys just dorking around Dragonstone getting updates on Dany’s eating habits after showing all of his cards to Tyrion? REALLY? Tyrion (the guy who shot

When I was stuck in a terrifying blizzard driving my family with nowhere to stop, and repeated the Shel Silverstein poem about the Lop-Eared Panada over and over until we were safe. It kept me sane. I assume that praying out loud had the same effect.

Yes, I’m sure your actions would be perfectly clear-headed and heroic in a terrifying situation like that. Well done, internet hero. FFS.

Because it gets them attention. They’re going to keep throwing shit like this out there to be “edgy”and then throwing out non-apologies so they can try to maintain a base while delighting the douchebags.

Damn. I saw her on tour with Depeche Mode and Haunted was on permanent rotation in my house during the early aughts. She was fantastic live and really should have made it big.

Gorsuch is only 50? Jebus, that is a rough 50.

Feeding the troll, but whatever.

Scandal-free? #neverforget

Yeah....I mean, this is sketchy as hell, but does this have actual repercussions for Hannity? I know that on any other network this would be curtains, but this crap is par for the course with that hive of scum and villainy.

Same. I feel like the scenes where she was being abused were brutal because Tonya wanted to show the world what she’d been enduring while everyone was judging her. I didn’t think they played them for laughs at all.

Yeah, I was on the fence when I watched the first time ages ago because it was “fun” and I love Billy Connelly and Willem Dafoe, but I couldn’t put my finger on why I didn’t really like it. Then the end credits started rolling with the “people on the street” interviews and it sank in. The entire movie was

YES. *waves Richard III flag*

Wow. Fuck United.

I always rooted for Jeanie (“Shawnna...”). She got a raw deal.

Ehhh...I get that, but I couldn’t get why he would have all of these girls falling for him. I imagined Scott being a shit, but a charismatic shit you can’t help but make out with and then regret. Michael Cera does not do that for me.

Yeah- and I have to disagree that the movie treats Knives too badly (or as badly as Scott does, anyway). I mean, she’s a lot younger than everyone else. I definitely identified with her being taken to parties where she doesn’t know anyone and feeling like she had to find a way to fit in, and when she tells Scott that

Fuck, I knew what was coming and it still made me cry.

I just gave my daughter that speech last night. Even if you have no concrete reason to feel that way, even if they’re being perfectly nice, if someone gives you the jibblies, you don’t have to interact with them. You don’t have to be mean, be civil, but get away from them.

There is a way to get through that quest with no bloodshed, just getting dirt on everyone and blackmailing them to work together and do what you tell them to. It’s a very satisfying end to what I found to be a rather grating quest.
