Every season is better - some more than others. The first three seasons are probably the best, but this show has always had the issue of way too many plot lines going in different directions. The current season so far seems to be an exception though - one thing it has going for it.

Elle, The Piano Teacher, 8 Women, Story of Women, The Lakemaker, White Material for starters! I think people also love her because she is the opposite of a usual Hollywood-type actor. She always comes across as genuine and honest, and doesn’t need to spill all about her private life for attention.

Maybe start by watching more of her films...she’s done about a million so I think you can get a better sense of her this way.

There is currently a falcon nest live cam in my city (springtime here). Recently the dad falcon brought the nesting mum falcon half a pigeon. It was not pretty. The next time I saw the live feed it was zoomed in so the window ledge with half a pigeon was out of view!
