I have just finished watching Narcos and realized that I’d never considered the horrifying effect that the cocaine trade has on the people of the countries where it is produced. Feel like a massively ignorant moron now, and so guilty.

There is one airport I’ve been to a few times (maybe Charleston?) that has attendants in every. single. bathroom. Like, I’m 3/4 through a 20-hour trip. I need to do things that I do not need an audience for. And I’m not even carrying any American currency. Ugh, I hate that airport for that reason.

Both lead characters have been kinda pissing me off the last few seasons but I watched anyway, so I’m glad I get to stop now.

I don’t know if it’s good - if I choose to wear makeup I also don’t want to be discriminated against any more than if I choose to not wear makeup. I think that some people in my workplace have notions that women who wear makeup are not serious, or smart, or are not willing to work hard. Either way, makeup or no makeup…

Of course it’s an issue, but your experience isn’t the only experience. I would think that there would be fewer good opportunities at my workplace for women who DO wear makeup, which is also fucked up.

Eh, most of the managers, senior managers and other higher-ups at my work don’t wear any makeup at all, some wear very minimal.

This film was charming and beautiful and totally kick-ass. I remember watching the credits and seeing Anna’s name over and over and I was like who tf is this amazing woman who has done everything on this film?!
