I forgot who said it, but one of the wisest things I’ve read or heard was that the Trump administration is House of Cards with the cast of Veep. Hell, nobody’s ever seen Spicey and Mike in the same room, have they?

For years, I’ve watched Veep and thought to myself, “Thank god there’s no one as terrible and insecure as Jonah, in Washington.” Now we have a White House full of Jonahs but Miller reminds me the most of the character.

Edited to remove an errant apostrophe.

That’s a Cool Girl Dress if i ever saw one.

The dichotomy of “Stick to making movies and entertaining me”and “YOU AREN’T DOING ENOUGH” is exhausting.

Yup. I think Hunger Games actually did a great job showing why image matters in a hyper-media environment, whether you’re trying to oppress or start a revolution. That image, of all the women in black, will stick around for a while. These are people that deal in images, and while we might think it’s not super

Yeah, I read that line several times and maybe I’m just not, like, really smart or a stable genius, but I didn’t get it. I’ve seen better stretching and reaching in a senior citizens’ yoga class.

This might work better.

It’s their job and dressing celebrities could be viewed as vapid, but it’s part of the billion dollar fashion industry. When asked about yourself and what you’re doing for your occupation you’ll talk about it. You or I can view it as stupid, but a large % of the world will be paying attention. To quote Sigourney

Lol. This is all going to add up to a bunch of commenters getting perma-grayed for calling BS BS.

His hair ran away to find a less racist head

That stylist was asked a question about styling and answered the question with a response about styling. Can we save our vitriol for where it’s really deserved please?

I was ready to get mad at the actress who said that about black dresses except it wasn’t an actress. It was a stylist who was asked about her work and, as a response, talked about her work. She may have been completely insensitive when she was interviewed, sure, OR maybe that one quote does not represent the entirety

Those posters made me seethe. She might have known. I personally think it’s feasible she didn’t (too high up the food chain) but she wasn’t the abuser and it makes my blood boil when people will find a reason, any reason, to somehow blame women for men’s crimes.

Why exactly is Jezebel promoting the Trump supporter who made the Meryl Streep posters?

That was an absolutely straight-faced quote about rape.

These brave women, wearing black beautiful dresses.

Also worth noting that if this is arson/retribution (it probably is), the arsonists are precisely the type of criminals now-Sen. Doug Jones used to prosecute. Dark irony.

Yes, I’m sure this is just an unfortunate coincidence. /s
