I’m Generation X, and I agree with you that Millennial women are expected to be “extraordinary.” It’s basically another step beyond “having it all,” which is the unrealistic expectation for women of my generation. We’ve failed if we don’t have a career, spouse, kids, house, etc. I’m not sure why we keep adding extra

Thank you for this!

Can we get an accounting of how much taxpayers shelled out for this?

It’s so blatantly an effort to suppress voters, I don’t understand why anyone might think otherwise.

Yeah. That is the real reason it got shut down. A judge said all information has to be shared with the democrats too.

When the Governor of Mississippi tells you to jump in the Gulf of Mexico? Yeah.

“Voter fraud” = black people consistently vote Democrat so let’s ask them for 4 pieces of ID and solve a Rubik’s cube.

“Despite substantial evidence of voter fraud, many states have refused to provide the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity with basic information relevant to its inquiry.”

Ben G. Hazi?

On one hand what the fuck.

They each think they’re the top but they’re both actually humping pillows.

Same. It’s probably 95% lies with about 5% truth that we already knew thrown in to sell it but if it breaks about Trump’s base I ain’t going to stop it.

I question a lot about that book, such as how the author could quote conversations so extensively, and even provide details as to how long Trump’s phone calls last. There may be elements of truth, but I think parts of that book are fabricated.

Holy shit...

Terry Richardson is a lot like Jimmy Savile: he managed to convince a lot of people that he wasn’t really a predator by self-consciously presenting himself as a parody of a predator. This kind of person is especially dangerous because there’s pressure to be in on the joke.

Honestly, I think it was quicker than that. In the pilot, Britta was a cool, self-aware, cynical but politically-active adult. LITERALLY starting the second episode, she became this gullible, kneejerk-leftist, blatantly hypocritical straw-feminist. Annie didn’t fare much better except that, as a not-explicit-feminist,

It’s never really a total surprise /secret, is it? The work always tells on the creators & their environment. If it smells like testosterone, it ain’t empowerment.

maybe... asshole bosses should not be the norm... and holding them accountable is a step towards that....?!?!?

As someone who really enjoyed Community, I feel like it’s still really easy to watch how the show treated its female characters and know what kind of a writer’s room Dan Harmon ran.
