Super tight controls and I absolutely loved the way they opened the game up and did the different realms so that it was “open-world” but you never felt like you were just dropped in an Assassin’s Creed type map with 1000 story mission, shop, side mission, mercenary, and loot icons all lumped together. Yep as someone who transitioned from GOW to RDR2, you are totally right. GOW was a gripping experience from start to finish with the absolute perfect amount of optional side content. RDR2... is amazing and I am 40% in, but at this point all it does is put me to sleep.
