White people are so racially confused on this post it’s funny. They have a ubiquitous self identity in this country, having lost the identity of their ancestors, so that must mean everyone else should too.

I think you’re confused. Indian is an ethnicity and a nationality; black is also an ethnicity. They are different ethnicities and it doesn’t actually have anything to do with similarities in skin tone with people from other ethnicities.

Black refers to people of African descent who’s heritage and lineage was erased thanks to Chattel Slavery. So people who’s family history starts from the point of slavery, but has no traceable links to Africa other than the fact that slaves came from various parts of the continent.
