Agreed. I hate this style of comic. And the more I see (e.g. Leia’s appearance, where she looks like she’s posed as a Hindu goddess), the more I hate it.

It took me a few seconds, but when I realized they were singing “Oh Holy Shitballs” I could barely pay attention to what was happening on the screen, I was laughing so hard. Best part of the movie to me (even though I thought Juggernaut kind of sucked).
This, exactly. I mean, apes’ mouths work like ours do. Cats and canines have a hinged snout and no lips to speak of. Making their mouths move like a human’s looks dumb.
Except for the fact that Matthew Rhys is in this, I’m going to give it a hard pass. Nothing (else) in the preview makes this look interesting to me.
Come on now, let’s not get carried away. I had a toy space shuttle when I was a kid, but that didn’t mean I could fly one. Maybe he just likes collecting shiny things.
Wait, let me get this straight, it’s too risky to make a main character show any sort of potential same-sex attractions, but it’s okay for them to be attracted to semi- or quasi-sentient metal structures? That’s kinda messed up, America.
uh-huhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuh, you said “horse butts”.
Peppa Pig was harmless entertainment...certainly orders magnitude better (and less annoying) than the currently popular Uncle Grandpa or Spongebob Squarepants that get liberal play at my house. Shoot me now.
I am trying not to make too much light of this situation, but every time I see the lead photo for this article I can’t help but think that dude is trying to stop the lava flow by using The Force.
Skip with a capital “S”.
Plot? These movies have plots? Every movie after the first one is more or less a re-tread, and a bad one at that.
As much as I love sci-fi, this one is easy: “33", Battlestar Galactica Season 1 Episode 1. The BSG pilot movie had me at “eh, this might be okay” but 33 absolutely sold me hook, line, and sinker. It was riveting television.
For those of us who don’t care to wade through the video, what is Drax’s best line?
I’m way more interested in the “Revenge of the Jedi” poster than the Rick Moranis (as great as he is) encore.
They lost my attention at “anime-inspired style”. I’m not quite ready to abandon it altogether, but it’ll be an uphill climb.
I have a real hard time believing this is going to be a good movie.
I agree with King. Tommyknockers was an awful book. It had good parts, but I seem to remember the middle 500 pages were just torture to get through. There is no need for this to become a movie.
And a little bit of Robert Palmer, too.
‘Yeah, those pants are what might happen if Georgia O’Keefe yelled “hammertime.”’ wins the internet for April. That is the funniest thing I’ve read in months.
I feel like this video is trying to convey something subtle, but I’m not quite picking up on it.
