Perhaps it’s the future, but don’t reject the idea that a computer will probably be better at driving than Homo technologicus. I know that doesn’t apply in this case, but I’m still making coffee (Homo capulus?).

Musk and his ilk are drum beaters. This technology, to be fully implemented like they crow about, needs massive investment. Hundreds of billions if not trillions of dollars for research and especially infrastructure (like getting rid of that switch on the 101) nationwide to eliminate situations that can confuse

For the record, I also think baby steps should also exclude highways. Get the kinks out, then level up.
