I’m expecting Trump to cheat his way to a win, the Supreme Court validating it, and him winning 2024 in a landslide “election” with 90%+ of the vote ala Putin.

If her history isn’t the perfect example of white privilege, I don’t know what is.

Why did I originally read that as “CowPi” and think, “What a terrible name”?

Do notifications on iOS devices actually work? They have been broken since iOS 13 for most fitbit users, making fitbit devices essentially worthless for a big part of their market.

So, move to Canada?

It’s doesn’t have to be a monopoly in the truest sense of the word to be an antitrust violation. Look at the penalties against Microsoft when IBM, Apple, and others offered OS competition... or Intel, when AMD and others existed in the CPU landscape.

Should the Army be allowed to lose money every year or should we expect it to get to a place where they break even?

LOL, you think there is ANY chance of Georgia turning blue? Kemp already got caught cheating in the Governor’s election and had absolutely zero repercussions for it. You don’t think they are going to escalate their attacks against a fair election process this time around? I have no doubt that Georgia will be red in

Nope, one can ALWAYS dream. However, I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

Garmin and Fitbit both get 5-day battery life with all the features you mentioned... it’s the bullshit nobody really needs like Siri/Bixby/Google Assistant always on and listening that absolutely murders battery life. Smartwatches are at their best when they are simpler devices focused on the basics. (Fitness and

I bought. Essential worker with no chance of layoffs and needed a new car for my wife and new son.

This is a bunch of psuedo-scientific BS (as is almost everything from the fitness/nutrition industries.) For the general population who wants to “lose weight” it’s calories in vs. calories out and anything beyond that is just over-complicating things.

But, wait a minute... I thought socialized medicine was useless and if it weren’t for all the big drug companies investing in research we wouldn’t make medical progress.

I’m pretty sure the stores that are in short supply and the consumers that are unable to find anything else (and prone to hoarding in this environment) would be more than willing to purchase items in bulk sizes.

I’ve done both and I much preferred the manual labor. It was ironically LESS brutal on the body. I was healthier and happier (but paid far less).

It doesn’t help. My office converted from overhead fluorescent bulbs to LED lighting with diffusers and it made a HUGE difference in my mood at work. The high frequency pulsing of the fluorescent bulbs was me extra on edge and wore out at the end of the day.

Suicide wasn’t boring... it was a terrible mish-mash of scenes spliced together to form ... something? The first half of the movie made absolute no sense... and the second half (I don’t know, I turned it off... which I never do for even the worst of movies.)

The Primaries and the General Election are different things though... and you can make an argument that the DNC did everything possible to ensure it wasn’t Bernie (and they will do it again.) This is despite the fact that 2016 General polling showed Bernie winning vs. Trump while the same polling showed a close race

If they sue, it will be covered by the hospital’s insurance and nothing with change.
