I don't think it's likely that Texas will vote for a Democrat, but Ted Cruz's election very closely tracked his approval ratings in the state. Democrats are likely to turn out in record numbers and Trump's approval ratings are unlikely to lead to high turnout amongst Republicans. 

I don’t understand how insanity should be defense for a crime. They should be  off the streets. If anything, the length of time for crime committed because of this should keep them off the streets longer.

The problem boils down to corporations are allowed to legally bribe out politicians. It doesn’t matter what public opinion is.

I grew up in California in the 80s and that was still a thing. We had an asshole Principal who enjoyed it way too much and walked around with his paddle in hand to intimidate the children.

I’m a definite believer of the pizza is like sex philosophy, even when it’s bad, it’s still pretty good and better than none.... except for Pizza Hut. That is garbage.

The only reason it can’t is because people have bought into the idea that it can’t and aren’t willing to do what it takes to make the change happen.

It was definitely scored incorrectly. Probably because the scorekeeper was scratching head thinking, “WTF?” It should have been a wild pitch or passed ball.

I would assume its scored the same as any passed ball/wild pitch, which does not count as an error.

The NBA and their hour-long last 5 minutes of the game are ridiculous. The first 43 minutes of a game are nearly irrelevent. 

Not necessarily. There are other changes that can accomplish both. Juiced Balls + 7 inning games. Done. Half the fans leave after the 7th inning anyways. If the league wasn’t obsessed with historical links it would be a no brainer in today’s environment.

The MLB and their “unwritten rules” explicitly encouraged this behavior and continues to do so at the other bases to “break up” double plays. It should be written that the runner must attempt to avoid making contact with the fielder attempting to make a play (that is the point of the game right?)

As a truck buyer... MPG would be a selling point. The problem is they are competing over a 1-2 MPG scale on the EPA model. I’m not gonna prefer one truck over another at 1-2 MPG, and what they get in EPA testing is meaningless in the real world.
