Daenerys had enough ships to transport the Dothraki and the Unsullied across from Essos. So, even if all the ships that transported the Unsullied to Casterly rock were stranded, she should have still had enough ships in reserve for the Dothraki.

Agreed. I couldn’t stand Clara. She dragged the entire show down IMO. I lost interest in the series as a result and let many episodes languish on the DVR. The Capaldi/Clara season was a chore to get through... and I didn’t watch any of the recent season as it was airing as a result. However, i just binge watched the

Wherever there is money... there is going to be someone there that will do unscrupulous things to get a portion of it they shouldn’t. But, just because there is a scandal involving a Union leader doesn’t mean that Unions are bad. Those employees still had far better wages and benefits, even with the corruption, than

I don’t understand the brainwashing that exists in this country against unions. Unions created just about every workplace protection and perk that is considered “standard” today. If it wasn’t for Unions, the middle class would have never existed in this country. As Unions have been beaten back the last few decades, it

Because Elon doesn’t see Tesla and its employees as being in the manufacturing business. He treats them like a technology startup. They are in Silicon Valley and Elon is used to the well-established culture in the valley of employees living on campus and working more and more hours to “build” something.

Well, they still made the mistake of oversimplifying the interior (which in turn made the control more complicated) ... you have to go to a nested button on the touchscreen to open the glovebox. Seriously!?!

So, you go on 200+ mile trips every 10 days or so?

Per the article, she was caught on camera by surveillance video. No conspiracy theory necessary.

I can’t speak for all of them, but I have a few friends at the factory and they are all putting in about 60-70+ hours/week.

I think the issue of Gender/Race wage inequality doesn’t get a lot of traction because it isn’t framed properly. Painting a picture that doesn’t really exist as being prevalent undermines the argument and makes people ignore it. In most jobs across the nation, people get paid the same (or nearly the same) for the same

Yeah, I would really prefer if 75% of the episodes were spent just watching characters travelling across the countryside and camping in tents along the way, so it could be more realistic.

Skinny repeal was an absolute disaster that was worse than the other solutions... it would have fucked everyone over.

Sadly, this is correct... the wins the Republicans got with a do-nothing congress and obstructionism would be the best blueprint for the Democrats at this point. They should do everything in their power to paint the Republicans as evil villains out of touch and incapable of helping everyday Americans. Let them fail

That is incorrect... a payroll tax is not necessarily paid for out of individuals’ paychecks. It can also be a tax on the employer based on how much they pay employees. I would bet if implemented for healthcare, it would fall into the latter category.

Yes, increase in taxes... but not necessarily an increase in costs for most employers/individuals.

I’m not sure if you are saying taxes would or would not go up based on that analysis. If you read further, it says the additional funds could be raised through a 15% employer tax. This would be offset by payments employers and individuals are already paying towards healthcare, so the total cost to individuals would

A majority of Americans get their healthcare coverage through their employer. The ACA’s healthcare mandate has increased this. The EASY way to make this happen would be to make the majority of the funds paid for by an employment tax. It would be nearly cost neutral for employer’s that already provide fully-paid for

Americans have very little faith in the government’s to do anything properly without a huge amount of waste and dysfunction. Corporate interests control American politics and they would find a way to make a bunch of people really rich while screwing over the average American.

Not that it should matter in regards to the outcome of this incident, but, how he “looks” in this photo isn’t necessarilly an accurate representation of him on the day of the incident. Depending on the source and their politics the images used will be hand picked to show the victim in whatever light they want.

So, mansplaining?
