Just about every nom they got should have gone to someone in Rez Dogs.

Big names with big representation that wined and dined the selection committee

“That was not me last night.”

The success of The Mandalorian and Andor would be arguments against the thesis of this article. It isn’t about the franchise belonging in one story format or the other, it’s about that story itself.

Honestly this sounds better than the last couple HQ seasons.

CAMERON’S GREATEST FEAT HERE WAS MAKING TOM ARNOLD SEEM TO BE A LIKEABLE ACTOR WHO COULD CARRY PART OF A MOVIE. HE WAS LEGITIMATELY HILARIOUS IN THIS FILM.I HAVE SEEN HINTS IN RECENT YEARS THAT SUGGEST ARNOLD IS NOT AS AWFUL AS HE WAS TREATED FOR MANY YEARS, BUT HAVE NOT LOOKED INTO THEM FOR VERACITY.

I was really sad to hear about this, though it’s obviously been coming for a long time.

Now playing

Pauly Shore is beyond an asshole for basically stalking a guy who clearly relished his privacy and who was taking substantial effort to keep out of the public eye. I’m glad Simmons was able to ensure some level of protection from people prying despite this; he was a hell of a character and performer, and by most

So sad to hear this. His energy was infectious and he seemed like a genuinely sweet guy. May he rest in peace.

I will only go to theaters that let me select my seat. That ain’t it chief.

“Ice Chips” was not an episode on its own, at all. torture porn is apt. juxtaposed with the restaurant, a and b plots? Sure. it could have worked.

I like pre-selecting my seats. It allows me to show up 30 mins past the posted start time to avoid the 30 mins of trailers and commercials before the actual film starts. Although they appear to be ratcheting those ad times up, because when I showed up my usual 30 mins late for Furiosa I still had to wait an additional

Your point about the creative team wanting to spend time with, and reward, real chefs...

I know this is an immensely easy analogy, but this season reminded me of a mediocre, high priced tasting menu.

Ah... it burns! The whining about character development.

Once again, for those in the back:

While I also share your distaste of the sheer quantity of fan service in the middle act, I do love that Raimi proceeds to have Wanda gruesomely kill each of them and presumably (after the cast announcement of F4) put most of them in the MCU grave for good.

But this episode felt like a lot of naval gazing over famous chefs.

I've literally never seen that complaint, so I do wonder where you hang out and with whom...

I’m a huge restaurant nerd. When I lived in Manhattan, a Michelin star restaurant was basically my Cheers, and I was friends with the whole staff because I was there several times a week.

What blip? That movie fucking rocked. Fuck off.
