RWD. 5 speed. Runs and drives... NP any day.
Don't get all moist, this is OBD I
This video describes a 94 Grand Cherokee... 94.
Yeah, the movie even went out of its way to address this with the on-demand supercharger concept.
Besides, on-demand supercharger for saving gas. done.
How do you keep the eight trillion computers in a GT-R running for 140 years? And where is our hero supposed to get proper tires for this thing?
In a fuel-starved postapocalyptic future where entire villages are slaughtered for gasoline, the hero drives a V8 muscle car? Give this man a Prius.
What route would you take? What do you want to know about how the Lambo is for the long haul?
Tesla's success took the battery industry somewhat by surprise, and if Tesla's growth plans are to be realized, there's lots more growing that's going to be needed from the industry, and soon.
The inconvenient truth about EVs is that there just isn't enough Cadmium and Lithium available. There's not enough mining infrastructure, and frankly, there's not enough of it available on the surface of this planet to feed a boom in the EV market. The Jalopnik readership is probably not the demographic that this car is marketed for. This is a collector car, and is definitely worth the price. The first rule of NPOCP: if it ain't a miata...Crack Pipe.
I know it's a clip from the TV show Survivor... That should get you closer... I want to know the specifics myself.
I honestly think the fox-body would be spectacular with a turbo 4 banger. Get all that weight out of the front, and you have a great-handling car. I would be conflicted about modifying an SVO, but if I had a white, 4 banger notchback, I would just go to town on it.
Meh, I'd rather not have to deal with a twin turbo 5.7L on a daily basis. Talk about a pain in the ass.
You underestimate the power of slicks... They really make all the difference. It's not which car you put in front, I bet the 86 would have stuck the McLaren just as hard. The track was too small for the McLaren to open up. Now, put both cars on the same tire? Then you'd definitely see something different.
double wishbones and IRS are not required for a track mustang. A good K-member, control arms, coil-overs and sway bar in the front. Torque box reinforcement, adjustable control arms, coil-overs and a watt's link in the rear. That would be my combo... Also I would use a 2.3L and turbo it.
It's doable. Maybe not for any old Joe Schmo, but if you know your mustangs, you can do it. 5K will buy a nice bolt-on fox body these days. another 5K in suspension and tires and you're just about there.
