I read it as him just having looked at the boobs, then looking up with a hint of anger when he realized it’s not the other daughter. 

The man looks like the evil land developer who’s about to shut down the community center. He looks like Dabney Coleman having an allergic reaction to shellfish. He looks like a high school basketball coach the split second before he learns his last victim is planning to file charges.

I enjoy both shows, but your statement is 100% accurate. 

It’s maybe judgmental of me, but I look at him and assume his immune system is just various strains of hepatitis waging a never-ending series of skirmishes and reluctant cease fires.  

Janney is a delight. In this show and everything. And Fichtner has been an excellent addition. I do hope they carry on with Farris as maybe an occasional guest star or something while focusing on Janney’s character.
