Only one of these sci-fi remakes I really enjoyed was Dredd 3D, but that's probably only because it shamelessly ripped off The Raid.

Yup. The whole endeavor was worth it for that gun control routine alone.

Yeah it's a shame about Legit. The two-part season finale was surprisingly final so it seems as if they knew what was coming and at least had a chance to go out with what passes for dignity in the Legitverse.

Is this series great or what? I keep waiting for an episode to veer ever so slightly off course but so far it's been like one extra long and very engrossing film.

The message of the ep didn't quite ring true to me. Outside the media's reality distortion field, which twists so many things (how often do we see plain/generically ugly people on teevee?), fat is completely normal, even dominant. Half my friends and family range from chubby to huge, and many of them are (gasp)
