Falling Skies had the exact same problem. By the time the, like, 5th black guy was summarily executed, only to be replaced, once again, by a new black guy, I was apoplectic.

Is there a rule that only one black cast member is allowed on per episode? Gramps was out for weeks and now that he's back the kid pulls a disappearing act. Given the way this show plays (uncomfortably at times) with stereotypes it was a little jarring to me.
