I don’t care what y’all say, Star Trek Beyond was good Trek and the Sabotage space battle ruled (and the effects were gorgeous).

...which is a crap argument. People aren’t exposed to minority actors, so of COURSE they’re not “excited” by them. They’ve never seen any. Chicken or the egg, and at some point people need to realize the right to do is lay the frickin’ egg...ie, cast non-white actors and go with it.

As far as I’m concerned, BotW and Mario Odyssey were totally worth it. And they’re designed so that you can spend a few minutes in portable mode trying to find a moon or solve a shrine, or hours on the couch working on the bigger stuff. First thought upon seeing this: Superhero Portlandia.

The (excellent) HBO documentary shows that one of the attackers suffers from hallucinations which she inherited from her father. If it is that father, he likely doesn’t like the fact that his daughter’s disease is being made light of.

I don’t know how anybody could have read/watched Dragon Ball all this time and NOT realized that he’s just been making up nonsense from the beginning.

AlanAlaricRoi has it right. The show is fine and not about shit people. The original iO9 was a platform I trusted. The current one is very hit and miss, and once it has decided it does not like something for some reason, it dumps on it relentlessly. Discovery is not perfect, but is far better than most Star Trek 1st…

Except that isn’t what the series is about, which you would find out if you didn’t just listen to people who hate it for their own reasons that don’t actually have anything to do with the show at all. To paraphrase Captain Lorca, “consensus is for cattle”.

Filoni should have been given Ep 9 since he’s the only one at LFL who creates anything that actually feels like Star Wars.
