I wonder how many “automotive enthusiasts” are still driving Corollas , because if they can’t drive their perfect car they might as well drive something reliable?  (I resembled this statement until buying a 911, now the Corolla is the winter beater).

Id say everyone with arachnophobia should just play the first 20 minutes of Limbo until they're cured or, more likely, catatonic. J/k. More accessibility options is always a good idea.

My last car was a Tiburon and whenever i see them on the road it still makes me look. And that's from a 911 seat. I still love the styling of the Tiburon. Just needed a little more power and rear wheel drive. So a Genesis that looked like the Tiburon and handled like neither of them would be perfect. 

I'm currently not-playing Dead Space 2. A game about one scientist's crusade against stupid people hellbent on irradicating the species. Not relevant at all.

Driving an ‘06 911 I find other 997s will wave, older air cooled 911s will wave, 996s rarely wave,  and 991 and newer never do. I don’t understand the dynamics at all but I’m always enthused to share a hello with another Porsche lover.

Keep in mind the 911 is a 2+2 and the 718 twins are 2 seater only. So there are also some of us who get the 911 as the 'practical' Porsche. It's not all posers. That said when the kids go off to college I'd probably get a Cayman. 

Did around 3.5 hours in stop and go with a 6-speed 911 yesterday. At no point did I think., "Boy I wish this was a slushbox". Driving in traffic sucks regardless. At least a manual gives you something to do
