Re: The title of this post.

That’s exactly what we were all expecting (ours is next week) so it’s actually kind of a relief that they decided last night to go to online only for the rest of the semester.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I work at a university outside of Boston and students are constantly streaming through my office. It’s been constant handwashing and trying not to touch my face.

Great interview!

I thought the whole Open Office thing was sweeping the tech nation and everyone was perfectly free to spread their germs —- er, socialize — freely due to that.

Jumping the gun on St. Patrick’s day there.

Old school gamer and grognard are not mutually exclusive. I started with 1st edition way back in the long ago myself. My friends of the same era and I have enjoyed most editions all the way up to and including 5e. Several of us are now playing 5e regularly with younger gamers and having a grand ol’ time.

I’m still making my way through Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. Still really enjoying it. I’ve been putting so much time into it and still I want to play it even more.

As a Warren supporter that is both angry and disgusted with the way this election has been going, I don’t care why anymore. I know why. What I want to know now is how do we fix it? I’m all out of ideas there.

Mmm, I’d try a banana cream pie blizzard.

The Oreo Cookie blizzard has been my favorite for quite a long time now. I used to be a fan of the chocolate chip blizzard but over the years I have come to the conclusion that chocolate chip washes out the vanilla softserve too much. Oreo preserves the creaminess of the vanilla much more satisfactorily.

Yeah, I’m of your mom’s generation and a considerable amount of my childhood was spent at my mom’s workplace. She was high school teacher in my childhood so the smell of chalk dust is an indelible part of my youth. I learned to type and use the computer by entering her grades.

That’s awesome. I’m also glad that she doesn’t watch Crystal Skull.

I was 7 when Raiders came out and my poor mom, not knowing much about the movie, took me and my even younger siblings to see it. That experience is my earliest, clear memory of going to the movies. I remember other movies, of course, including bits and pieces of Star Wars, but not in their entirety.

Personally, I think if anyone should have stepped out of the way, it was Bernie. He should have ended his campaign after he had his heart attack and given her his support. It pisses me off whenever people tell her to get out of his way.

It does seem like most people who pay attention, who read about positions and policy and do their freaking research rather than reading headlines or blog posts, are more likely to go with Warren. But most people don’t tend to do that kind of extra work.

I’m still sad about this. I really wish they would release those interviews on DVD or Blu-Ray or something. I’ve seen a lot of them from 2006 - 2010 or so but there are years of material I’ve completely missed out on.

I’ve never understood the notion of living without regret. I just can’t do it. Hell, I regret that I can’t do it. Regret is a large part of my life.

That’s comforting to hear. I’m bad at video games too and have been a little intimidated by Falling Order reviews. I’ve got it, just haven’t gotten around to playing it yet.

That’s something I’ve been looking forward to doing one of these days, making my way through Yukuza. Haven’t started yet but it’s on my list!
