I think it’s a pretty good idea to avoid listening to Nunes say anything.

Fucking Ohio, man.

Man, it’d be so easy to mistake him for a Republican right now.

I admit (scandalous as this is) that I don’t actually like gravy so I’d be okay with giving that up.

Cheers to that!

Oh man, that’d be an awful surprise.

I’ve often wondered just how many aches and pains and general discomforts (to say nothing of genuine medical issues) women face are resulting directly from being “lady-like”.

I think Cranberry sauce is pretty nasty but I can handle it at my table. Green bean casserole though isn’t permitted or I’ll have to leave the table. The smell alone makes me sick.

Anything with raisins is the worst. Ugh.

The prime rib roast is my Christmas dinner. It’s my consolation prize for letting my wife keep the Thanksgiving traditions (including the nasty cranberry sauce).

I typically avoid movies centered around dogs because I’m way too big of a softie to take it. But I like dogs and I like Harrison Ford (especially grumpy curmudgeonly Harrison Ford) so I might have considered seeing this. Then they had to ruin it with a CGI dog.

This doesn’t make up for Brexit but it’s a strong effort.

That was the one thing my mom did pretty well for Thanksgiving. Sorry that you missed out!

Yep. For years rolls were my absolute favorite part about Thanksgiving. One year I even went to Lambert’s in Mo specifically because of that.

I think I would have enjoyed Thanksgiving a lot more as a kid if Mac & Cheese had been part of it.

Yeah, rolls are one of the best parts about Thanksgiving.

On stuffing: I love stuffing when it’s cooked inside the bird but we never actually do that anymore because of the potential health issues and because we don’t like cooking a full bird. We crock pot a turkey breast which is actually the only way in my entire life that I actually like turkey. But consequently, stuffing

My wife, for some reason, eats cranberry sauce. It always kinda grosses me out.

I had a tough time with this draft but in the end Pumpkin Pie won it. Because it’s not Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie. And yeah, pumpkin is one of the least of pies in my opinion but if I’m not eating pumpkin pie then it’s not Thanksgiving.

I’m betting it was totally worth it.
