Richard Petty actually contributed to the design.
I mean, WTF. Hell’s freezing over.

Isn’t that always the way of it.  Strange ol’ world. :P

Had one of these back when everyone was making mini pickups. Nigh indestructable. But I didn’t pay 4 large for it back then, and respectfully to over 50% of ya (at time of writing), it ain’t worth it now.

Don’t know if it strictly qualifies as a animal (is it a people?), but I submit the Skoda Yeti.

Probably can also go straight to the source on FoxSportsGo:

I’ve never liked those pawl-actuated stands, for precisely the reason these are being recalled. I inherited an old school locking-pin set of stands from my old man, and I find those far less scary to use.

I had a Matchbox or Hot Wheels version of one of these when I was a kid. No idea which one, in either case, but man when I saw that picture I instantly recognized it.  Probably Hot Wheels, given their appreciation of totally gonzo designs (see: Twinmill)

Hells yeah, Jerry Reed (and his bitchin soundtrack) was my favorite part of that movie.  Hey, Burt went on to shine without Jerry in movies like Hooper and Cannonball Run, but this movie is all about the Jerry.

Almost all of those names are “Actors” with a capital “A” who most people didn’t give two shits about. Man on the street knew Burt, and, of course, Clint. But those “Actors” were really popular with the Trend Setters but, if you actually asked the man on the street in 1977 (which I was one of), we’d easily rank Burt

Confession: I’ve never found anything that Seinfeld did to be, well, funny. At best, amusing, but not at the level of Carlin amusing. This always relegated him to second tier for me. If you can’t match up to Carlin, you’re just warming up.

It’s not surprising considering the popularity of games like Battlezone, Asteroids, and Red Baron. I dropped so many quarters into those. There was also a vector-based Star Trek game, but I don’t recall where it is in the Vectrex timeline.

So, my wife hates, hates, hates ground pepper of any sort. Is there a reasonable substitute for this that isn’t more pepper, or is it okay to just leave it out?

Denny’s gonna be surprised.

Let’s not limit ourselves. This console did not have just the worst driving games. I think it’s fair to say that ever game on it was the worst.

“Yes. It will even float for a while.”

There are two things I remember about this flight more than anything.

It’s not that hard to not be wrecked by Bowyer.

Some of them (like Denny Hamlin) are full blown rigs (Hamlin’s costs around $40K). Others, like Timmy Hill, just have the basics - single monitor, wheel, pedals.

Ironically, Timmy Hill is kicking asses all over the place.

Or pulled the boss and then DC’d.

When I was in the Navy, my first ship was an Oliver Hazard Perry class Frigate that had two gas turbine engines powering the screw. When the Captain ordered all ahead flank, everyone on the ship got a woody. It was awesome.
