I’m not really surprised, but the configuration does look inherently unstable. Two up front and one in back really seems a lot more stable, and I’m sure there’s a really good scientific reason why but I’m a pikey from the hills, not a mechanical engineer.

Makes no sense if you’re putting your goods in the trunk. Instead of unloading a shopping cart directly, now you’re the putz lugging two bags at a time around the car.

That said, if the space in front of me is vacant when I leave, I’ll pull through rather than try to back out over a bunch of blue-hairs again.  That’s

The floorpan is amazing if it was used on a farm.  My old man once bought a 57 Willys from a farmer and the floorpans were absolutely rotted out with all the manure that the farmer had tracked over them over the years.  We had to cut out the rusty bits and even weld new crossbars to support the replacement sheet

Given all the fun Clarkson had with the Reliant Robin I can only imagine the unfettered joy he’d get from trying to make a right turn in one of these coming in at 90 MPH.

Do it with style; use a Corvair engine. Just be sure to check the O-rings before takeoff.

I encountered this when my ship made port in Hong Kong back in the 90s. I went to a sandwich shop and asked for a ham and swiss with mustard and got some LOOKS, y’all.

I absolutely agree with both the Chiron and EcoSport diss. Neither car should exist. The Chiron is just an iteration of the same madness that is the Veyron, which, incidentally, I adore.

I love how Aubry almost killed that scene. Nice save.

This would be so much better if the payment companies that process the cards would completely embrace end to end encryption of all card data. Right now there are a number of spots where card track data can be found in the clear.

People tend to start ignoring this when every time they go to replace a tire the mechanic tries to upsell them on a 400 or more tie rod end issue. People have become jaded.

Okay, I’ll bite. What, in your opinion “is” A1 Sauce?

Now I know what inspired the parade balloons from the 1989 Batman movie.

As a Florida resident, I can vouch for this dog’s prowess on the road. He’s got the majority of the denizens of Top of the World beat.

Since I don’t see that the rear end was replaced, I’m going to guess that it’s not up to the job. Hubs and wheels will start to show signs of damage until the diff or one of the axles go. (not that I’ve seen that before but oh no ...)

CP all the way.

Keep your eye on Cole Custer, SHR’s new rookie in the 41.

Apparently “Brio” is one of those brands that gets passed around like a roach. I guess HP was done hogging it.

Now playing

I have to take issue with Drive Angry being so far down the list. It’s just insane, and lough out loud funny (sometimes unintentionally?) in many cases.

They had a real Morton-Thiokol moment there, and they failed to realize it.

I’d like to put in a word for GreenShot (https://getgreenshot.org/) - super flexible, and comes with a basic annotation tool. So you can do something like this: hit your hotkey to capture a screenie, drag a rectangle over the area you want to capture, open it in the editor, annotate it (say, highlight text or draw a
