I actually submitted this a long long time ago for a worst encounters with insects post, but it’s still the scariest thing that’s happened to me.

They need to compile a single post with all the past winners.

When we were kids, my sister and I watched “Now and Then” with our neighbor friends. We were 4 girls between the ages of 9 and 13 - I was the youngest. Despite my mom’s religious upbringing and banning of Ouija boards and anything else that could be considered Satanic, the movie exposed us to the concept of a seance.

Na

You did kind of have it coming.

You’re absolutely no fun.

When my husband and I got engaged, I was living with a roommate. To save money for the wedding, rather than re-upping my lease, I moved back into my childhood home. This meant my parents and grandparents (who lived there) were always keeping an eye out to be sure we weren’t fornicating.

So, being creative, young

I finally found this thread early early enough to *maybe* not be totally buried! The most intensely creepy thing that’s ever happened to me is also the most oddly beautiful.

The girl scout troop I lead has met in the same church since kindergarten, they’re now in 4th grade. Its built on the side of a hill, and we meet in the “basement” which is really a large, well lit room full of windows. At the back of the room is a hall with the bathrooms, and stairs to the main floor. The girls call

Yup. Thousands of people signed up to vote because of Taylor. Meanwhile, Kim’s mad because her husband has turned into a Trumpy porn-obsessed weirdo who tweets about bringing back slavery and complains about her clothes while going on TV dressed as a giant water bottle. Oh, who made a weird music video featuring a

This is not my story, but my best friend’s, and I’m sharing with his blessing. (Re-post from last year.)

Apparently, 65,000 people have registered to vote in the past 24 hours, so thanks Taylor.

So bear with me with the set up, it’s important. My best friend’s father was a funeral director, as was his father and his grandfather. They’ve run the same funeral home for like 100 years. The building itself is comprised of the “old” part, built in the early 1900s and the “new” part, an addition in the 1970s. The

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Maybe this will be the year someone will top “Look at Me”.

SO HYPE

Me wait ALL YEAR for this moment. ALL YEAR.

Maybe Taylor can get some support from Kristen Stewart during this trying time.

I’m watching Dawson’s Creek for the first time (I was in high school when it aired but I did not watch) and I’m almost to the part where Busy Phillips arrives on the scene and I’m really excited to see her and Michelle Williams spark the beginning of their decades-long friendship. That’s all I’ve got to add, because

This is why the climate is so scary for men. You can have five women come out of nowhere and accuse you of stuff you did, and maybe because of the whims of the news cycle, people take it seriously for a little bit, and you have to lower your profile for a while before your fellow mediocrities welcome you back into the

This needs more attention because I’m tired of seeing other comments buying into the false narrative that she began the #metoo movement.
