One of their latest releases was FFXIV: Shadowbringers. It has an amazing story, but unfortunately wont be seen by the majority due to it being an MMORPG expansion.

I wish it were different, but playing the same games with Chinese gamers has always turned into a miserable experience. The win-at-any-cost mentality is prevalent, and in my personal experience, has always lead to any players opposite of them being exposed to their constant cheating and exploiting.

How much involvement does Squad have with this? Any of the original devs?

I had to really dig deep into my love for everything Star Wars to appreciate this show. The main protagonist was hard to like. He had an interesting enough backstory, but they wrote his lines like he was a Star Wars fan magically inserted into the Star Wars universe.

The books and games reference that Yennefer was probably a hunchback, before she met Geralt. As she became a more powerful sorceress, she used magic to make herself beautiful. In the books, several sorceresses suffer horrible injuries (Triss is badly burned) but given enough time and skill, they can repair themselves.

I have played the games and read the books and I spend way too much time on the internet...yet somehow I am not ruined in that I am no longer excited by anything. It looks dramatic, but told me nothing, as trailers are supposed to do. Yes, it’s a trailer, and it doesn’t spoil the plot which is what a good trailer…
