As a local, I always assumed that the original proposal was sort of like an opening bid to start a negotiation with Amazon. This plan was never going to be enacted and watching non-locals express outrage is strange.

When people complain about the lack of income tax in WA, they forget about the other taxes we pay, including an extremely high sales tax.
