I’m okay with this. I got my Switch at midnight on launch and it’s *still* going strong. I still have a buttload of games on it that I have yet to play, and there’s still quite a few I want to buy. I’ve put literally thousands of hours into this machine, it’s insane. I went from almost completely giving up on Nintendo

Wrong take. Crunch is a thing. The humans making these games have actual lives and they don’t want to spend three months sleeping under their desks and pulling 18 hours days. It’s a goddamn videogame, it’s not worth devs not seeing their families for months on end over.

Yeah, I don’t feel like developers are doing anything that demands a new console. If anything, I could see some “slim” versions of a PS5 and just keeping this console around a while. There’s nothing that seems like it’s heads and shoulders above what you could do with a PS4 other than just using some prettier

The only reason to pick Kaidan is for the benefits of your sleep cycle.  Just five minutes talking to him before bed and you will sleep the night away.

On top of that, red is a terrible color to draw attention to things when around 4% of people are colorblind.

Streamer Brain’s a thing though, they’ll be playing with their attention divided because they have to entertain at the same time.

Oh yeah, 99% of my Deck usage comes from laying in bed, with the rest when I actually go somewhere with downtime. It’s an astoundingly good piece of hardware, and I’m regularly blown away at how well it runs these games (most of the time at near-max settings), but that’s at 720p on a tiny screen... The second I plug

Gamepass has 34 million subscribers, it’s doing very well.
Steam however has 120 million active monthly users so no shit more people are playing Palworld on there?

Streaming could never be mainstream with the internet we have today, and I don’t see ISPs getting motivated to beef it up all that much in the next 10 years either.

Hardware sales last month must've been the real nail in the coffin. They were 100usd cheaper than PlayStation yet they didn't outsell it.

Yeah I am with you. I got a ps5 during covid and literally have only played through one game on it. I spend all my time on a pc. As they become more like a pc and I can stream from my pc to my couch I don’t see a point to consoles.

My experience with xCloud hasn’t been great. The image quality is really bad. Same with Sony’s streaming. Both services fall short of Geforce Now which really should be the standard for streaming quality.

It’s not the only one like it. Sony has PS+ Extra/Premium, Ubisoft has Ubisoft+, EA has EA Play.

we will still have consoles but theybwill be a niche product in the 1st world (there are other valuable markets aside from the US and japan after all.)

I mean, they’re not wrong. I adore Garrus but he’d be a terrible boyfriend.

I want Mass Effect 4 to just be about how Shepard comes back from the dead and rebuilds the mass relays network himself just so they can get a three way going with Thane(who is also not dead) and Garrus

Plus Ashley is a space racist and her name is already Ash

Putting anyone but Garrus at the #1 spot invalidates this list entirely, and now reeks of some sort of boring “please don’t look down on me for picking the most boring human in the game” coping mechanism

Kaidan is kind of hard to be a good boyfriend since for most people he’s a smoldering pile of radioactive ash on Virmire.

What’s more boring than going to space just to end up boning another human?
