Yeah it’s a bummer for sure, the story isn’t anything special but still, it just released, emotions and passions are high, but spoiling the game doesn’t help or aid anybody.

I can overlook this, because the alternative is that he’s either killing a bunch of sapients, or there are an unreasonable number of droids around the place. It’s an allowance for gameplay purposes, much like progression being halted because of a locked door.

Don’t kill them then? Simple solution really, if they’re entirely option cannon fodder just avoid them, if it’s a section where you can’t, bummer.

This actually was Cal’s stance, then he tried to peacefully walk past one of those god forsaken ram creatures, which promptly launched him off a cliff, and since then he’s sworn bloody retribution against any and all fauna that dare cross his path.

People complain sooooo much about Nintendo not lowering their prices on first party games and it takes an additional $10 savings for this voucher program to get any daylight?   I think people just want to be mad. Nintendo has a but load of faults, obviously.  This program is actually a good thing, though.

I think the difference is in the context. It’s easy to let things go when it is “huge/big company buys one small company out of the dozens or hundreds of small companies”.

Did Sony make Destiny 2 a PS exclusive when they bought Bungie?

Where do you think they got the money to buy Activision from? Cuz it sure ain’t from their “last place” Xbox revenue

Genshin Impact is coming out for the Switch, isn’t it? It’s also available on iOS, Android, and Windows. How is that exclusive?

Activision Blizzard has proven to be an extremely toxic company that has taken advantage of their employees in disgusting ways”

Which Sony merger has materially hurt Xbox? None, right? Not much of what Sony has bought has been available on Xbox. The vast majority of the studios that Sony has bought were making titles exclusively for the Playstation, usually for more than a decade, so Xbox lost nothing. And the few studios that Sony did buy

I mean... It’s not ideal, but there is a difference between buying up the odd game and swallowing an entire publisher of the biggest game in the world plus tons of other IP which have all quietly gone under the radar while this whole CoD narrative drags along.

Is it just Hogwarts Legacy that is being cancelled at the moment? No boycott for the rest of ALL WB Games for releasing this game? Or ALL WB Studios Movies for releasing the Wizarding World movies? ALL Universal Studios Theme Parks for the Wizarding World Theme Park? Or ALL Lego products for releasing the Wizarding

The outrage you are exhibiting is beyond ridiculous to me. I'm 100% in favor of and supportive of trans rights. Rowling is human garbage who deserves to get fucked over immensely. That will never change how many, many, MANY people feel about the the world and characters. Nor does it ever excuse the hate and harassment

Being hurt and upset is one thing. I, in no way, said it wasn't justified. But harassing and attacking people who do want to play the game is bullshit. There's no excuse, no good reason, to lash out like that.

You have a real dogged insistence that people are incapable of both shit-talking and activism.

It does make me wonder, even if she’s already rich, could it be effective to stop supporting work she’s associated with in order to reduce the negative effects.

I have to agree that on a general gaming sub, you gotta keep the discussion to gameplay. This is a common etiquette  rule not just tied to this particular case.

As a mod in some other forums, this is practical. It’s not to say that the mods don’t clearly support trans rights and have a position on the issue (they do!), but as a practical nature of online discourse and the free nature of modwork and all opening this can of worms is a wonderful way to attract the worst kinds of

Some people have made it their entire identity to attack people who are planning to play this game as bigots or bigot enabling and I just can’t with these people. I’ve donated a not-insignificant amount of my time and money to progressive candidates but im going to enjoy creative mediums and I separate art from
