I played every role under the sun when I played City of Villains/Heroes back in the day. While I liked a lot of the solo friendly classes, I never settled on a favorite role. Damage is fun but in a raid type fight it’s pretty boring. You’re just cycling your attacks infinitely and adjusting your positioning. DPS is

Exactly. If the door had opened to someone random our reaction would have been “who’s this idiot supposed to be?”. We wouldn’t have thought it was quicksilver even if the show told us.

Animal Crossing definitely helped me keep my sanity last year. Waiting on all these medical tests and things I really needed the distraction. I’m glad some of my online friends talked me into getting it. It was my first game in the series and it’s super chill. I love it.

Today, I don’t know a single person who can reasonably say they’re in a better place in terms of mental health compared to where they were at the start of this thing.

I remember hearing Julian tell this story on the Dev Game Club podcast. http://www.devgameclub.com/blog/2017/10/18/dgc-ep-083-julian-gollop-interview

It was a lot of fun to hear about the game’s creation and all the shenanigans going on at the time. Even though I know the story I still kinda want to check this book out

Turn on English subtitles (even if the game is in English) and windowed mode. They’re the only settings I mess with before starting a game.

YES! The portability factor is such a life changer. You could absolutely run with this console for another ten years if you wanted to just doing minor upgrades or new variants like they did with the 3ds line.

They’d be insane to not have their next console be a hybrid. It’s the system’s biggest selling point. It’s crazy how good it feels to be able to play a game on the tv or at your desk and just pick it up and carry it into another room. Now that I have it, I never want to go back. I think it’s worth sacrificing higher

I think a big part of that was because there were rumors about a new Nintendo console on the Horizon while the WiiU still felt like it was coming into it’s own as a system. It made people like me wait to see what happened so we didn’t get burned.

Considering how long of a tail Nintendo’s handheld systems tend to have I

Kinda funny. I actually stopped playing Diablo 2 because I lost my saves. I might never have given dungeon crawlers another chance if cloud saves hadn’t become a thing.

Eh this is cool I guess. The only thing I really want out of a new switch at this point is a longer battery life and joycons that don’t break :p

my ex’s sister recently started doing the terf thing. It’s a lot like how Rowling started. Just some questionable comments here and there, then full on ranty posts. I’m not sure what triggered it. She’s one of the smartest people I ever met, she’s super liberal and progressive, but for some reason being anti-transgende

Tentatively interested. D3 was a mess at launch but after the loot patch and the necromancer update I had a ton of fun playing it. The legendary revamps were awesome too. They basically fixed most of the issues I had with the game over the couple of years I played it.

Thinking on it though gear’s always sorta been my

It sounds like it might have been but it’s hard to tell. I thought I was a weirdo because when it came out nobody else seemed to be having issues, but when I do a search for it now I found a bunch of people talking about it. They don’t all blame the same thing (though some did mention framerates specifically) and I

I’m not sure. I looked around and found other people blaming it on a variety of things. Some people said it was a framerate thing and that blur effect causing their eyes to constantly shift in and out of focus. I’m not sure what exactly was causing it for me. Nobody was talking about it when the movie came out so I

My one friend intentionally tried to get as many of the crew killed as possible. He said he’d be ok with Garrus and Mordin surviving but I think one of them always died closing the door or something so he couldn’t get his “perfect run” and just settled for killing as many people as possible.

I was really curious what

I kinda hope the spiderverse animation doesn’t catch on. It literally gave me headaches, and this isn’t hyperbole or me crapping on the movie. I couldn’t finish it because it made my eyes hurt and gave me headaches. Which is sad, because the story seemed really cool.

plus whichever shepard got the axe, man or femshep, it would make part of the audience sad. To be fair though, if you’re going to make a movie about a series, don’t do it with a self insert character. It’s just going to cause problems.

But videogames also have the BEST president

if the website is right it’s solar panels only get about 4 hours of power per day to run off of too. So they probably spend a lot of time figuring out how best to use what they’ve got. It also does other things besides take photos and drive so maybe some days they don’t move it too much
