I do think it’s sort of fitting though. If anything Automata is a game about cycles. Finding meaning in a world full of meaninglessness and pain is a rather large part of the game. Leaving Pascal seems cruel but you’re also setting him free. I think the world is a better place with him in it. What he went through was

so funny story about that. I got a phone call during my first playthrough that lasted about ten or fifteen minutes so when that happened it took me a while to figure out that it was replaying what I had done and that I basically had to wait through that phone call length again. I wasn’t mad though, I thought it was

Yeah that’s sort of the impression I got. By that time we all started going to school and getting jobs so our gaming moved online. The first game was just one of those random things we stumbled into and got surprised by so maybe the sequels would have fallen flat even if the volleyball part of the game had still been

That would be amazing. I still kinda want another NFL Blitz myself. I don’t even like football but for some reason I put a ton of time into that game.

A friend of mine got the first DOAX at some store for practically nothing and one day a group of us were hanging out and we started playing it kind of ironically but ended up having a lot of fun. The controls were simple so it was easy to pick up and play, it was fast, and we got pretty competitive with it. The rest

The pacing in ME2 is also a huge factor in how fun it was. Even if you did the sidequests, it felt like a very breezy game. You just got on the rollercoaster and had fun. It was a nice change of pace after all the plodding in the first game. There were things I missed for sure, but I felt like the character stuff and

The Liara stuff in the DLC felt really satisfying. I getcha though. My main team in the first game was Wrex and Garus and Grunt was a lot less interesting of a replacement. I tried using Liara in my team in the first game since she ended up being the one I picked as my partner, but she died too much and didn’t really

This 100%. I played Infiltrator in the first game and it felt super weak. Your one assassinate snipey type ability was great but the shooting in the first game was terrible. Most of the tech powers felt super weak or situational. I tried investing in the tech mine explosion damage so that when I threw a power out I at

I actually felt like 2 had the best gameplay. The enemies felt way too tanky in the third game. Maybe because they added more special enemies? I remember the Banshee were especially annoying and felt like giant ammo sinks no matter what type of fire I threw at them because of their barriers. Even using stuff that was

I’m an essential worker so this year was so hectic I barely had time for gaming. Animal Crossing has been a godsend. It gave me a way to center myself every morning after work, and catching all the fish and bugs and remodeling my island has been a welcome distraction I could chip away at. It was my first Animal

I actually thought it came out last year. I think covid just kinda wiped it from everyone’s memory. That and recency bias.

I’d seen Wintermoor on the steam store. tactics RPGs and visual novels are my jam but I wasn’t really digging the art style so I was on the fence about it. You might have just given me the push I needed to make up my mind.

You just look up, with your eyes. No head/neck movement required. :p

Nah man, Golden eye was easy. You nudged the C button to tilt your default aim slightly up so your shots were more likely to hit people in the face, used the shoulder button to aim if you were being sneaky or desperate, avoided fighting on differing elevations as much as possible, and banned Oddjob :p

Can’t do it. Gives me crippling motion sickness. I like VR as a novelty but I can’t play anything in it that requires me to move at all. It’s very jarring. No headaches though, so that’s a plus. Maybe that’s more of an issue for people who wear glasses?

This. Barely visible is always way too dark for actual gameplay.

Same. I just got mine from a coworker two or three years ago, works fine. My PC is WAY louder so the system fans never bugged me. My 360 on the other hand....I got it fixed 4 or 5 times, got a new model too and that broke as well. All my old Playstations still work, even my PSX, which I was very hard on growing up. I

Now playing

Muramasa the Demon Blade.

Though the Vita remake is the best way to play that game. The DLC character/scenarios they added are so much fun.

I’m more annoyed that so many trophies and achievements are tied into difficulty instead of fun or quirky things. I guess maybe I should reconsider though, when I see that beat game on ultra hard or similar it stops me from trying to 100% every single game I play.

Faster load times and better graphics are always nice but the new consoles are never interesting, the games are. Right now there’s no reason to buy a PS5 unless you’re a Souls fan or you want the new Spiderman. If you have a PC there’s almost no reason to own an Xbox since all first party Xbox games are coming to PC.
