I do love how one of the NPCs called him out on it though. I forget the exact wording but they definitely seemed to think the logos on his cape were kinda tacky

I don’t mind the rest. It’s kind of busy but I get what they were going for. Wanting to make him a king but also keeping to the sports theme they had for all

Stadia’s a neat idea but until America fixes it’s internet it’s an idea doomed to failure.

Yeah, same. I kinda forgot about Hades because of the early access thing. I want to try it but I’m gonna have to wait. Playing Darkest Dungeon in EA taught me that it’s not really to my taste, even if an update doesn’t break your saves. I don’t like playing a game while they’re still actively tinkering with and adding/

I’d add pretty much any food from any Vanillaware game to this list.

I was just happy to go through a cave this time without getting swarmed by zubats and geodudes.

Strategy guides are nice. You could wait and use an FAQ or something but it’s really handy having the book with you and being able to flip to any page to check stuff out. And for rpgs it’s extra nice to have a handy bestiary or sidequest/missables guide at hand.

You don’t NEED one, but for some games it’s really

KonoSuba

Nobody said adventuring was easy

Horizon got shafted but Nier totally deserved that music award (and I’m saying this as someone who absolutely loves the Persona games and their kick ass music).

Hellblade did do some really cool things with audio design but I could see that category being a much harder vote to suss out. I’d be interested to see how

I mean, Breath of the Wild basically gave you all your abilities at the beginning of the game and it was one of the things people loved about it.

Metroid type games are kinda based around locking secrets/progress behind upgrade walls to make you explore and backtrack once new methods are available to you but I think

Galarian Meowth is the best Meowth. He’s an evil little gremlin and I absolutely adore him and his creepy, sharp-toothed smile. I will hear no arguments on this. He’s the best.

Now playing

Funny you should say that. SBH did a neat video comparing Metal Gear, Evangelion, and possible shared influences between the two and Japanese culture at the time. It’s kinda neat.

Haha, yeah that was my immediate response as well. Kids are crafty, once they want to do a thing they’re kinda relentless about it, no matter how many times they’re foiled in the attempt.

People care. Some of them care a lot. But when you get right down to it it’s all about priorities. Some people are born activists and get super interested/involved in politics and they make it their business to get involved and stay up to date on everything. But most people are just people. They get up, they go to

Yeah it’s a small quest line from Legion. I think there were some articles about it but if you search for Priestess Driana and Enchantress Ilanya you can find the details.

Sounds interesting. As long as the PVP is purely optional I don’t really mind it being a thing. It wasn’t to my taste but there were people who liked PVP in D2 that might be happy to see it again (if it’s done right anyway).

I’m also pretty sure with that class lineup that Amazons are coming back too unless the game

You have a point I guess. For me it’s more about having fun trying classes and builds and doing all the story stuff. The loot grind can be fun, but I like my games to end at some point. There’s always more stuff coming out.

More like people
fucking suck these days.

Ah, I think you nailed it with that summary. Being able to hit those power spikes so fast and not really being able to screw up your character was probably what made me love D3 so much. I love customization but limited respecs just shouldn’t be a thing anymore. Games should let you experiment as much as you want
