I just wish they’d given him more of his role in the books and games, as more of the ‘damsel in distress’ as often as not. Or as the grifting whoremonger always looking for how to make a buck. It makes the moments where his loyalty as a friend shine through all that more meaningful.

I honestly don’t know if it is willful ignorance, simple misunderstanding, or a linguistic framing issue that keeps the Fox News viewing set at a place where they’re unable to understand that ‘white privilege’, or ‘male privilege’, or ‘fill-in-the-fucking-blank privilege’ really just means, “You only have to deal with

Would be nice if Home gives some kind of warning to players uploading to it from past games for any ‘Mon that are still not added to the Sword/Shield dex that there is effectively no way to get them out of home once they’re in there. Maybe even block those from being moved until they have somewhere else to go?

Again, this feels like a bit of a ‘sort of’ situation. In the past you’d need to buy a new cart to get catchable new critters, sure.

It isn’t about money as a means of purchasing things that matters to billionaires anymore. Money is just a score keeping tool to them at this point. It is a shorthand for power and influence, and a way to know if they are ‘better’ than their fellow mega-rich.

Yeah, it feels like a “what jury would ever convict,” case, but he does, somehow, manage to keep getting reelected, so you can’t dismiss getting a jury of 12 angry old, white dude/tortoises and a ‘Good Ol Boy’ judge then getting slammed with a max sentence for aggravated assault.

Damn.

Yep, and in the unlikely event the horrible thing they got caught doing is so horrible and/or public that it can’t be ignored and the cop in question is actually fired, well, no worries, they’ll just have the Chief give them a sterling recommendation to go work as a cop for some other town a few miles down the road.

I’d only add “no mandatory participation activities for anyone at the reception,” to your list for a grand total of two rules.

Honestly, both USC and UCLA shoot above the Rams, and probably the Raiders as well, any year they have even a snowball’s chance in hell of making a NC run.

Yep, pretty much just means that anyone who would have a reason to be on campus that night would have very likely been inside and not wandering around.

Honestly, I’d say tanking really only makes sense in basketball, where one single, transcendent talent can literally turn your team around and get them to the finals.

That’s a pretty damn fine list. About the only thing(s) I could think to add might be real social justice changes and CJ reforms to balance out the scales of justice in general. That would be including, and especially, ending the playground-to-prison cycle and commuting and/or expunging the sentences of non-violent

That is some eye-popping math. Well, the numbers are anyway, the equations are probably pretty ho-hum as far as ‘math’ goes, I have no idea.

Yeah, it is a pain, especially if you wind up stuck with a bunch of items from one of the non-recruitable characters for that storyline (like Dedue for non-Blue Lion, or Hilda while playing Black Eagle, for instance). Then you just have a pile of junk you can’t give to anyone.

Thanks for the information.

Oh, there’s absolutely always the chance she double faults at least once in a game, especially if she’s maybe not taking things seriously and just goofing around. Hell, there’s at least a chance she does so four times before driving across four winners of her own, handing you the game. You couldn’t get me to bet on it

This!

This.

I think some of that may be the fact that football players are that much easier to dehumanize on the field because of all the pads and helmets make it that much more difficult to tell who’s who.
