Except you didn’t really do anything to affect that. All you did was take an article around helping raise awareness of women’s issues in the industry and try and completely change the subject to YOUR problems. It sends a clear message that, sure, you PREFER women’s issues get solved, but that’s not nearly as important

You don’t need to know the context or the entirety of the conversation to know that ‘Did you fuck all your sources?” is inappropriate question. Fuck’s sake. If someone is ignorant, it’s still harassment.

One fun context clue to figure out if this question wasn’t appropriate is that the woman who was asked the question is saying that it wasn’t appropriate.

Oh my god. It’s not predatory. Fuck. He kept the game x number of days. It costs x dollars per day to keep said game. He returned it. He got charged the price of that There is nothing predatory about this. It’s just simple math and common sense.

The article is not blaming Cuphead for homaging Fleshier cartoons, just that said cartoons tended to have racist elements. Nobody is saying Cuphead is racist, just that the cartoons have a lot of racial baggage that warrants discussion. The fact that you don’t seem to want to have this discussion and just call this

Thank goodness I’m not insecure enough to be a PC gamer :)

I dunno how you talk dude but i never know what I´m going to say until after I open my word-hole

It’s always been funny to me how thieves justify their thievery with mock morality. There’s no difference between going into the store and shop lifting something and downloading an illegal copy of a game, song, movie/whatever. Except doing it in a store requires effort. So, the difference is digital piracy is lazier.

Want to slow down piracy (youll never stop it) is to price your games reasonably

While a general 30 price point WOULD make me buy far more games (instead of none unless there’s an extreme sale), it’s not feasible with current game budgets. So additionally the AAA industry has to rethink how they make games and the audience needs to lower their expectations for AAA industry games.

Games are expensive to make, if anything all this DLC stuff is to help with the cost. AAA Games should be priced at $90 imo

Playing the pirated game (1) recognizes there is some value to the game, otherwise it wouldn’t be played, but (2) refuses to demonstrate that value monetarily, or to negotiate the game’s value with the developer’s or publisher’s consent. One can not buy and not obtain the game; not buying and obtaining the game

Wow...that’s about the shittiest attitude one could have and you have proven nothing to anyone other than that you feel that you’re entitled to these games and the years of work the developers put into them is quite literally worthless to you.

Why is 1/2 my gaming collection paid and why is 1/2 pirated.”

I didn’t know that piracy only existed since the dawn of microtransactions. Man, what a pirate-free utopia we lived in before then, right?

I can’t believe Kotaku is covering video games now. In my day this site focused on the turnip farming industry and that’s the way we liked it!

I’ve provided you with contextualized examples that explain in full what you’re asking for. The show wouldn’t bother naming a character (who was the only black character apart from Chef on the show for a significant length of time) Token if it weren’t directly referencing tokenism in media, which used to be a standard

I’ll take a stab at it:

The show includes a character named Token. Token Black. His family is the richest in the town of South Park, and they are—as their surname indicates—black.

Token has routinely been employed in the series to demonstrate the other boys’ misunderstandings concerning race relations here in the US.

To be fair, though, I have a PS4, and Xbox One S and a 4K TV... I only have one UHD Blu Ray... not even a movie I really wanted, but out of all the crap that was available on UHD Blu ray or the movies I already had in Blu Ray, that was the only one I was sort of interested in.

People online make such a big deal of

If you’ve never tried Axiom Verge, I highly recommend it. It’s not a perfect metroid side scrolling experience, but it has a lot of it down.
