I didn’t think anyone could top Silent Hill fans for wild speculation, but here we are.

In Canada we don’t have pennies, so technically I could buy Halo cosmetics and I won’t have spent a penny either. I know you are very impressed ;-)

Pfft, I did this already ;-)

Meanwhile in Forza Horizon 5 we’ve received forzathon points due to issues, as well as one instance where because it was deemed that the seasonal event was too much of a grind, so they threw everyone free points. Some devs understand that even minor compensation for things like server downtime generates community

It just establishes a precedent that might predict how Microsoft handles this in future.

Return on investment.

Are you in Canada per chance? It’s been available here since late Fall.

The ROI on porting PS games to PC is too high. It wouldn’t make sense to stop porting them.

Arguably PlayStation owners buying Starfield or other Bethesda games would also make Microsoft money, but they’ve decided to make them exclusive. Shoring up Game Pass with titles is probably more important to MS than how many units they could sell on the PS platform.

Yet PlayStation still ad the most unit sales during the PS3/360 era, so even if Microsoft did well with exclusives, they still didn’t beat Sony and that is despite big missteps by Sony early on. Exclusives alone are not a surefire way to sell consoles.

Arguably the only two that are worth playing.

You are aware that FFXIV is the game under discussion and it’s not fraught with either microtransactions or gambling mechanics, right? It’s not a F2P gacha game.

Use a stock checker. I bought a Series S early last year. After a year of loving it but wanting more power and the ability to access discs, I upgraded to a Series X. I got my X less than two weeks after signing up for a stock checker. Incidentally I also got my PS5 using a stock checker. They really aren’t that hard

Bland seems to be his wheelhouse.

Early on you can’t get very far before you are out of gas. Eventually it doesn’t matter but it catches people off guard at the beginning, especially since the hud icons for fuel and nike status are piss poor I regards to visibility.

It’s a perfectly adequate game, it’s just not a great game. It’s hard to like Deek, the structure is derivative and repetitive and the story has been overdone elsewhere.

For a brief moment my brain replaced “Arrival” with “Pinnacle Station” because the latter is the obvious one to skip.

Counter point, don’t skip Arrival. There noting inherently wrong with the DLC, it introduces a dilemma that forces you to make a difficult decision between two awful outcomes (something that would invariably happen in this conflict), establishes why Sheppard is not in command of the Normandy at the beginning of ME3,

When Black and other marginalized authors are given even half of the chance white writers are, then we can talk about the idea that people can write against their experience. Until then I struggle with the idea that privileged white writers can tap into the empathy needed to write those stories.

Why can’t the character be a black woman because they want it to be? I don’t see people claiming that all the boring ass white dudes in games need to have cultural justification.
