The common sentiment I am reading is that Insomniac rebuilt and alternated everything around the core mechanics as a means to update the game, while maintaining the core gameplay that we love. I’d be surprised if anyone who loves the series would want Insomniac to fundamentally change the core gameplay.

Honestly 60fps is good enough given the limited availability and high cost of TVs that can support 120Hz. It will matter more when a larger percentage of the player base has a TV that is capable enough. Let’s hope things change by then.
