The common sentiment I am reading is that Insomniac rebuilt and alternated everything around the core mechanics as a means to update the game, while maintaining the core gameplay that we love. I’d be surprised if anyone who loves the series would want Insomniac to fundamentally change the core gameplay.

You could set up an e-mail rule and have them automatically directed to a PS Store folder. I actually quite like these emails because I’ve been able to successfully substantiate to Sony that I received a game that has subsequently mysteriously disappeared from my collection in the past. Nothing wrong with a good paper

On the other hand, they are easier to add to your collection without the need to click through several checkout screens and enter your password to complete the transaction.

Honestly 60fps is good enough given the limited availability and high cost of TVs that can support 120Hz. It will matter more when a larger percentage of the player base has a TV that is capable enough. Let’s hope things change by then.

By contrast, the Xbox Series X unboxing was amazing. Hell, even the Xbox One X I bought last year—a refurbished system, mind you (by Microsoft), had more personality in it’s unboxing than the PS5.

It was for me. I got mine on a whim in January without any issue. I’ve been hunting for a PS5 for longer and only snagged one this week (touch wood).

Much of my disappointment with Super Mario 3D World centers on the fact that Mario just doesn’t feel very spry. Even with the Switch version’s increased movement speeds, I never quite feel 100% in control of my characters, which is further compounded by a dearth of movement options (the lack of a triple jump is a

For a studio with high standards in 2D animation, this looks really rough.

Not to worry, they’ve scheduled 21 days of crunch just to prove that it does!

It makes you fatphobic and, based on that and the rest of your comment, likely a huge asshole.

Instead of connecting to the device the player is playing on, it connects directly to Amazon’s cloud, lowering latency and allowing for fancy tricks like instantly swapping games between screens without losing control. That’s a cool innovation.

Keep digging that hole. I suspect you could get a whole AITA post out this. I’d say we both know the answer you’d get but I think you’re too oblivious to clue in to which one that is.

Or you could own both, like I do. But let’s be serious. Not only does Scott Pilgrim look miles better, I’m amazed you think River City Girls played better. It’s both clunkier and has RPG mechanics shoehorned in that bring nothing to the table. Most of the unlockable moves add no mechanical advantage. It’s actually

That d-pad looks like hell on earth.

And the risk of it being counterfeit is probably lower at Walmart.

Missing these old HUDs seems equivalent to missing Winamp.

Yes, let’s celebrate the compelling story of the whiny assassin who’s only motivation is to bang his sister. Let’s also celebrate the game that is so absolutely littered with garbage collectables and awful side quests that you can’t see the map underneath the icons.

Translation: Canadians plan to wait on the PS5 and Xbox Series X given the exchange rate and ultimate cost of the consoles at launch, so nobody will buy our hockey game if we port it to the next gen this year.

The DS4 feels better. The XBox controller is consistently the only controller that causes strain and my hands to cramp. Everybody is different. The DS4 suites some better than the Xbox controller, and vice versa.

None, because Reese is Hershey’s and Hershey’s can’t make chocolate to save their lives, regardless of the shape.
