Are you really "she signed a contract'"-ing me? Contracts are broken, violated, invalid, etc. If the contract is the only thing that you think puts her on the hook then that's a pretty weak argument.
She's never once been responsible for the child. It's a fetus in someone elses body atm. If that is something that can happen, surely the best time would be before the birth.
She may have agreed but not known their relationship, which would presumably her decision to agree.

I think the guy manipulating her into having this child was the power play. This will set a precedent, I'm sure. But a part of me wants him to have to deal with this nasty situation he created without her finances.
