You mention rust, David asks for Piccsss

I think lots of people will move towards Lotus for just the exclusivity alone. Part of the problem with corvettes and mustangs are their own success.  If you’re buying a unique expensive sports car, you want it to be, unique.

The display went out on my head unit, and I was looking for a Nakamachi to replace it with. But ultimately just got another standard head unit to swap in.

Def take a road trip in it.  I never loved mine more than the long drive I did in it.  It’s just so great for cruising and eating up american highway miles.

I’ve seen the green in person.  It looks so good.  I wish this was an option when I bought my FRS.

I would think you’d still be in a good resale market for it too.  If someone’s looking for a certain car, they’re going to go for the newest of that generation, as all the bugs have been sorted out by then.

Premium gas isn’t only for mercedes and masaratis... Think of the GTi(s) or the Subraru WRX(s). It’s way more prevalent to use premium now thanks to all of the turbocharging that’s been done to engines the past few years.

That’s exactly how I read it too.  Yeah, I don’t want video of my barfing in a toilet all weekend.  I’d rather it be about the racing.  But, everyone on here is rallying as if he doesn’t want to release the footage because he wasn’t first.

This is all BS.  They just want to know who’s out of state and won’t push back after they’re writing a ticket.  The front plate is an easy way for them to pick on out of state motorists.

What I’d like to know is how the Japanese domestic market has so efficiently protected it’s home market. Other auto OEMS are STILL struggling to sell anything other than a Japanese car in Japan. Conversely, it would be interesting to understand the policies that failed in the US to drive people towards it’s own OEMs.

High property taxes, with equally high homestead exemptions.

Give me the Matcha McFlurry or give me death.

Can middle america get something first for once?  It seems like such a better strategy to have self driving deployed on long boring straight roads rather than starting in downtown SF or LA.  Then you can upgrade the technology as you go.

I drive myself today
To see if I still feel
I focus on the shift
The only thing that’s real

I think it looks pretty exotic. Hell even the C7 I thought looked more like an exotic than the drab garbage that was 90-2013 Corvettes.

So, engine out service for belts and pulleys on the engine? Or is there a window built into the bulkhead to access them?

Problem is, they’re the one’s with the money because they’re in the end of their job life cycle where they’re collecting their highest paychecks. Also, they got jobs with benefits and decent pay, unlike most millennials working as unpaid interns with dr. levels of debt.

No way, if it’s going full Euro, they’ll charge you to remove seats/sound deadening/electronics, etc.
