we call it “Nintendo Hard” and it refers not just to Contra, but of the many, many games of absolutely absurd difficulty that came out on that system.

“kids are stupid. They can’t play a terrible game. Back in my day our games were ugly and hard and read like poorly translated stereo instructions. Games today are crap.”

Mr. Fahey as he’s playing:

This is pretty damn accurate. Especially the SHAFT Head-title and Gainax Stance, but you forget one. Gendo hands!

Well, after you play W3 maybe you can go back to W2 and think of it as a “DLC-prequel.” Because its a very, very good game!

Okay... that’s pretty long. I was thinking “heh, Naruto games do a pretty good job”, and then I read this. No contest.

It has arguably the best PRODUCTION VALUES in an anime ever, though.

Unlimited Budget Works

If it’s anywhere near XCOM: Enemy Unknown or Within, it has my support. That game is still goddamn amazing to this day.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are the best entry's in this series and the only two worth playing.

Honestly it just depends on the genre you’re watching.
Creative talent is there and some gems get released on a yearly basis. It’s just there’s a higher percentage of trashy anime out there. You usually look to specific studios like Mad House for quality works anyway rather than just blindly hope good anime comes out

I don’t care what anyone says: fuck breaking news, fuck inside scoops, fuck posting press releases, fuck hands on early access, fuck game reviews, and fuck insight on all things video games, this is the type of journalism we need right now.

You leave him alone! He’s trying his damned hardest but horsing is hard!
