I wish Kate & Allie was rerun/streamed somewhere. It seems like there are lots of lousy old sitcoms that show up on my weird cable channels like MeTV and Antenna TV, so why not something reasonably good?

I don’t go out of my way to watch The Simpsons anymore, but when I do catch a recent episode I’m usually pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy it. I do think the quality now is better than it was in the series’ middle period.

It seems like a lot of trouble to go through for a short scene that arguably didn’t work or make sense in the context of the movie
