Penultimate? Good lord, I thought they were still setting up the season. While I’m not hating this season as much as others, apparently, realizing they’re on the second-last episode really does make me reconsider how little they’ve done with all the talent involved.

So Woody Harrelson is the Jack Nicholson of Wimbledon. Got it.

Wow. In the best of circumstances, that movie can be traumatizing. 

Seriously, even another conservative Republican would be better than Mitch McConnell. NIXON in his prime would be better than Mitch. She can say whatever she wants just so she gets a shot at taking that treasonous bastard down.

Based on the preview clips, I was really thinking they’d do an Aunt Lydia ‘Looking for Mr. Goodbar’ type episode. While a terrible idea, that might’ve actually been a better origin story than whatever the hell this episode ended up being.

I regret enjoying even 1/4th of his work. STILL one of my favorite jokes is “You know what they say: avalanche is better than no lanche at all.”

It would truly be impossible to do a worse job. It’s just even with the best of intentions, it can go south really quickly to do an essay rather than, say, a piece in another publication away from your main body of work.

An essay, huh. Last time I read an essay in a long-running black and white comic book, it was Dave Sim discussing his enlightened thoughts on women.
