Do you mean there is value engineering on the parts you can see (and the parts you can’t see) on a BMW? I am shocked. This is real news.

Sounds about $9000 cheaper than a DUI. He got off easy.
They’re pre-scale. They defined scale as 500,000 cars a year, so they have to go 10x.
My buddy in NY has a Jetta TDI lease. When he signed up, they gave him $1000 gas card because diesel prices were higher than gasoline and the cars weren’t selling. Now he got a $500 visa card and a $500 dealer service credit which he’s using on his other 5 cylinder Jetta. For all of this trouble VW credit gets their…
Mercedes only issue is keeping the quality high. People who buy nice stuff for a lot of money don’t want to be at the dealership complaining they were sold a car that isn’t finished. The C63 has some steering, suspension and dash creaking issues. Maybe the guys building them in Alabama don’t know how to collaborate…
People who have nice stuff know how to keep it nice, or pay someone to clean it. But yeah you wouldn’t order that if you had awful children and a messy dog.
If you’re the type of guy going to 4 or 5 HPDE events a year, it is worth it to outfit your car with a fixed back seat, a rollbar in the back seat, 6 point belts and most importantly the HANS. You hope you’ll never need it but if you do you’ll be sorry if you didn't.
Best car I drove this year was the 2015 991 GT3. Worst car was the 2014 Ford Expedition. Most surprising was the 2015 V6 Mustang (rental car special) in how great it was.
It is cheap. It’s a C class with a supercar motor stuffed in it.
The coupe is like a black series. Wheels are pushed out 2.5”. Totally revised suspension design.
Because it would add $3000 to the price and the rears hardly do any work in a car sprung this soft with 57% over the nose.
That steering wheel is standard on the S model and optional on the base model.
Renntech has a tune out but the ECU is inside the engine so it costs $2500 for the tune and $2500 to install. You get over 565HP from either of the base model or S model. You can get the car for about $64k with incentives if you don't go nuts on options.
We have pebble gray on agate gray leather in our 2015 Boxster and it has spray tan stains and lotion stains from my lady. It does come out, though.
Zero Motorcycles.
Great car for $3500. $3900 tops. Sadly 12 years ago it would have been $1000. There are a lot of newer Crown Victoria with a better motor in a newer model year for less money.
Remember these are budget (Detroit) supercars. Porsche has done a way better job on EPAS. Drive anything from a new Cayman to a GT3 and you’ll agree.
If you've bought an Audi since 2009 it is a good thing.
You may have had problems with your VW B5 or whatever but the new Audi cars 2009+ have been great. The 4.0TFSI is a great power train, not too exotic to service, etc. Basically it will cheaper to buy used, and cheaper each time you bring it in for maintenance. Don't undersell the convenience of being able to toss a…
