The one you want is the 2013 V8 Contiental GT, which is the same motor as the RS7. You get Bentley style and Audi reliability. Prices will be under $100k soon.

The big story here is Nissan has a car called the Rogue?
How is this different than a HEMI
Typical repairs for a car like this: “$4K transmission, $1K engine wiring harness, $3.3K A/C evaporator, $800 vaccuum pump, and probably $3K in various suspension components and engine mounts.”
Take the wing off and it doesn’t flip, every time. Or with active aero you just change the angle of attack to 0 on the straightaway and it won’t flip.
Every good car has a flat floor - see the Audi oil change debacle for what one looks like. It’s like saying an airplane crashed because it has smooth wings. Without the rear wing that GT-R wouldn’t have crashed. Lifting the front (or crushing the back with nearly ONE TON of downforce) is what made it flip.
It was a loss of downforce on the front wheels, disproportionate to the (extremely high) downforce on the rear wheels.
Are you seriously asking why 1400 pounds of downforce on the rear wheels at 150 MPH would make the front end lift? Because you might need to do some homework buddy.
I think paperwork is the least of your problems. A kit car just isn’t going to be reliable like a factory Porsche.
Or, you know, you could just pull the wings off.
A tranny job on this car is like $5000. So I’d offer $5000 for it with a 50/50 chance I’ll need that.
West coast people are going to love this car.
What if you index it for “everyone was poor in 1991” and “everyone is loaded since 1998”?
Might be about 350 HP more than you need for autocross but ok. Maybe autocross it in electric mode with the engine off?
Kill it for you apparently. The owners are going to love it. Maybe get a used S2000 on Freddy Hernandez special?
Too heavy for what? For going 140 MPH at a track - nope. For going slow in, fast out when cornering - nope. For setting 911 S lap times are most road courses - nope. Super handling AWD makes heavyish cars dance around better than you would think. The weight is low and rear biased. It’s not going to be an issue. This…
That would be a good comparison test. I think on performance sadly the Acura would win. The R8 desperately needs forced induction.
That is independent. I think the dealer charges $300. California man.
I have a new Audi S4. Here’s what an oil change costs:
I would totally go Conti DX.
