With MB, they’re all heavy including the C63. If you’re cross shopping it against a Cayenne Turbo, it’s an insanely good value for a V8 turbo powered truck. And you can tow an actual racecar, which the E63 definitely is not.

This car should just call OnStar after ignition and give EMS a heads up that there is going to be a wreck.
2017 Audi Allroad.
Would rather do this for a lot less money. $85k vs. $115k. Has most of the same parts.
Honestly, the cheapest Porsche is better with the PDK. The aftermarket PDK tune makes the base car fire off like a GT car.
This is worth it, other than the safety standards could be more modern so don’t get an accident with it ideally. It’s low mass and low center of gravity make it fun. It’s also a pedal to the medal car, since it’s so underpowered. Fun in places where you really can’t speed.
First world problems: when you buy the $150k Tesla but you want it to act like the $80k model.
Life hack: live in a big city and don’t take flights with connections.
When the Model 3 performance does 0-60 in 2.4 seconds, I think they’ll reconsider whether the ///M3 needs electric driving the rear wheels. In the meantime, they should be wondering why the 718 4 cylinder is Motor Trend’s #2 best driver’s car, and the M2 can’t touch it.
The next M3 should basically be a poor man’s i8. Put the Mini Cooper 3 cylinder motor up front driving the front wheels, and a 15 kilowatt battery pack in the trunk driving the rear wheels with individual torque biasing. No differentials, no drive shaft, no transmission tunnel. The car should do 0-60 in 2.4 seconds,…
That photo is taken in 1 Market Plaza in San Francisco. Google has space in the Spear Street Tower.
981 Boxster owner checking in - AWD does nothing in a rear engine or mid-engine platform because there’s no weight on the nose, especially under throttle. If the R8 could drop the V10 and go with a lighter engine like the 2.9L V6 turbo, a RWD layout would make a ton of sense. Hopefully it would be 250 pounds lighter.
I asked one of the instructors at the Porsche Experience Center in LA what his favorite car was, and which one he would take home if he could have any. He said the Cayenne Turbo S is by far the best car at the facility - and they have the new GT3RS and the 918 Spyder. I haven’t driven it yet but I admit I’m looking at…
2.5TFSI is an interesting motor. A3 is not a great chassis - some people refer to it as the German Elantra. This motor is slightly better in a TT-RS, which is 350 pounds lighter. An aluminum chassis is not great for a variety of reasons, from repair to inability to attach a rollcage (well you can but a $2k job becomes…
No doubt it’s the 981 Boxster. A grownup’s Miata. The frunk plus trunk plus seatbacks make it capable of holding a shocking amount of luggage. The frunk easily swallows a checked airplane bag, plus a 2-3 smaller carry on bags. Did I mention it’s a real sportscar with 56% rear weight distribution that easily gets over…
But BMW has better marketing than Audi, so faster.
There’s only one Capitol.
I think they made a mistake. That Chevy Aveo with laptop batteries should be $11k.
Beast mode.
Dealer contacted me about a $2900 a month lease with $30k drive off. It works out to $8 a mile. Arguably, worth it. 570GT is the best Boxster upgrade imaginable.
