I blame “Trump’s dangerous rhetoric”.

Ford does it right - you can order these cars from the parts counter at any dealership. The last one, the Boss 302S, was $85k. I expect this one to come in between $99,000 and $110,000. In comparison a Cayman GT4 Clubsport is $145,000.

Drifting is for morons. How about you write an article detailing what’s in the 2017 Audi S3 facelift?

This is worth about $9.9k - $12.9k.

Didn’t work out so well with the M5 and M6. There was plenty of $22k off sticker deals on the showroom floor. Also, $165k is like $1000/month in the BMW shell game of leasing.

No one has bought the Eddie Bauer edition since...1996.

@Tyler how much wheel torque? Also, what type of dyno equipment was it - Dynojet, Mustang, etc.?

PDK is an amazing transmission and you shouldn’t need anything different. Even on track it’s telepathic in picking a gear and downshifting as you brake. However, it is very difficult to install an aftermarket single mass clutch and get it right the first time. Having a factory installed and warrantied 911R flywheel is

Needs more wing.

I don’t think a 3 series makes anyone look rich. Maybe, high potential but only if it’s brand new.

When the tires are covered in soap and the pavement is wet, this can easily happen.

That spongy overspring tho

The way to look at it is it’s a GT2 car. It’s probably a bit easier to drive than a GT3 RS. Obviously a better value than a 911 Turbo S.

Why are you so anti physics? It’s a mono camera from a 3rd party supplier. Has nothing to do with Tesla, other than there is a belief that when you put a “T” badge on the hood that the car has super powers. We want to believe self driving cars are real but they’re a slight of hand. Like David Copperfield going

No nope not no no no. 1 digital camera in the rear view mirror housing is not enough for level 4 autonomous driving. You need a $25,000 LIDAR array.

Who is going to pay the expense report for Pebble Beach?

It’s for divided highways only. It’s cruise control.

The average UberX is a $15,200 MSRP new car. This is a $60k Volvo with a $25k LIDAR array and it requires a $200,000/yr software engineer (or two) to co-pilot it, so it can “self drive”.

I can see a market for 5% of new vehicles in the US being pure electric (1 million sales on 18 million total). I could see another 10% going to hybrid with EV only mode for commuting. Your average 5 series, E class, A6 buyer would be totally fine with an 18 kW battery on board which takes them 60 miles a day to work

The innovation curve:
