This article reminds me of every edition of Roundel, where old farts talk about having 7 BMW’s because 5 of them are broken at any given time. Then they write snail mail letters to the editor and wait for responses to fix them. Turnaround time? 100 days to never.

That’s not how capital intensive businesses with extremely high labor costs work...

First time I’ve voted YES in one of these crack pipe polls.

They lease these cars for $100 a month literally. They can’t get more affordable.

What do you think this would cost, approximately, as you spec’d it? $80k?

When GM tries to make a car ultra cheap people die.

VW Golf is the same car man.

This car couldn’t be more affordable.

It’s called a Jeep?

The Mustang can’t get more affordable. You can pick up a used 2015 for under $25k already. The main problem with that car is it’s too affordable so it scares off upscale buyers.

$115k McLaren 350S. No ceramic brakes, put a 4 banger in it.

Paradoxically, no one has ever seen a Jeep engine that wasn't damaged.

Spoiler alert: the driver dies in the 30 MPH small offset crash test.

Is this manual lifted out of the Scion TC? Man if must feel good to row through that Toyota minivan motor.

But the car is fully updated for 2016 with new MMI and LEDs and stuff.

$70k is still a lot for a loaded A6. You can get into a C63 for that much, which is a far better engine.

I kind of wonder if this is just a production concept car. They’re not building them in volume and I wonder if it’s because they lose money on each car or have quality difficulties churning them out. Or maybe it’s as simple as “making carbon tubs is hard”. Each dealer gets like < 1 car and they get marked up to $160k.

I am shocked that with an average age of 22 years, one of the cars in this race had a mechanical issue. Nothing like finding out if 1970’s crumple zone technology will save your life.

You guys clearly wrote this review last year because no one would even sell you the diesel. The A6 Prestige with the ultra premium seats is the car to get.

I think the R8 V10 weighs a bit over 3600. This car looks pretty slick. I’m not into the angular Japanese styling but I get it, people will like this car.
