Do they come to full brightness immediately, or do they need to warm up?

Do they come to full brightness immediately, or do they need to warm up?

This may seem surprisingly simple, but you have to want it. Like really want it, more than life itself. I've watched many very bright people drop out of Ph.D. programs and leave with their M.S. and happily go off to a good job. What kept me going was the feeling that somehow my life wasn't going to be complete

My mother. Who took the opportunity during her toast to give my bride my bronzed baby shoes, saying "This is all I have left to give to you of my Gregory. The rest you've already taken for yourself"

Anyone have any idea why this _wouldn't_ work? I can't get it to work at all on my iPhone 6

Just FYI, the discount code on the lightning cable is kinda BS: you only get a $2 discount, regardless how many cables your order. It's not $2 off each one.

the "Human Society"? #corrections ;-)

Of course, that only works with fair dreidles. My wife and I were playing with our 5-year old daughter, and we each had our own. But mine was so biased that it came up Nun ten times in a row, and my wife's wasn't much better. My daughter was very pleased with hers, which was biased to come up Gimel

As a technical advisor, I am constantly, both in papers that I review, and in correspondence I get sent, reminding people not to bury the lead. Readers have a short attention span, and if I need to get to the end to figure out what you want, I'm probably on to something else already. Like reading Lifehacker.

Actually, my experience when I lost my card, and my wife was carrying hers, with the same number, was that the credit card company had no problem cancelling my card without affecting hers.

Thank goodness you didn't post it on a blog that is read by tens of thousands of people, then.

If I went with this upgraded build that you recommend, how do you think it would do running Adobe Lightroom to do light to medium photo work, too? Painfully slow, or just fine? (or something in between?).

For some reason, I can't reply in-stream. But referring to the recommendation for a nicer case for a living-room setup, does anyone have recommendations for something that would look good and take the $300 build?

Also, don't forget $1 worth of multivitamins to go with it. I knew people in college who lived on Ramen for an entire summer while working at an amusement park (trying to save money), and basically came back with the symptoms of scurvy.

I have used this in I can't remember how many places. I used to travel a lot for work, and the hardest part was remembering the local area code, since many of the stores weren't national chains, but I think it worked about 95% of the time.

Thank goodness. I have no idea how the Waze team used Google to search for locations before (it was an option on iOS, if you scrolled your search choices), but it invariably pulled up bad or clearly wrong data. Of all things, I found that choosing Bing in Waze would be more accurate to get the location I wanted to

Can anyone point to a GIMP filter that would allow photos to be modified to look something like these? More like the last few. I know the impressionist filter makes random squares, and I can just pixelate, but I like the idea of the variously sized polys like in Green Holo or Sunset

One of these things is not like the other...

Excuse me, but as soon as you get off the air, Queen Victoria is just waiting over here for a moment to kick your ass...

I'd actually bother to jailbreak my iPhone if I could get something that looks that nice.

Well, none of it is easy...my joke is always "THIS wasn't in the brochure!" Children will surprise you and challenge you in ways you could never understand before you had them. The ideas are good, even if they might sound simplistic, but I think that most parents understand that it's never that simple.
