Yeah the difference is that the gameplay is pretty deep. You need a lot of different characters for different missions, there’s a bunch of different play modes (including 2-4 real-time multiplayer), lots of knowledge to action and a lot of skills needed as well. I... Like it a bunch.

Hawken is HEAVILY freemium though. Last I checked you couldn’t do much at all for free. Just use the couple robots they give you at the start and their original load-out. Check for yourself but that’s what prevented me from getting into it at the time.
